John, a proud U.S. Navy veteran, opened the doors to American Ink Tattoos in July 2005 with a mission to create a professional, welcoming space for both first-time clients and seasoned collectors. With 27 years of tattooing experience, John brings a deep passion for the craft and a commitment to delivering high-quality, meaningful work to every client who walks through the door.

As both the owner and lead artist, John has built his career on versatility and attention to detail. Whether it’s a custom piece tailored to someone’s personal story or a bold, timeless flash design, he enjoys working across all styles of tattooing—from traditional and realism to black and grey and beyond. 

Known for his  steady hand, John values collaboration with each client to ensure their vision is brought to life exactly as imagined. His decades of experience, combined with a dedication to clean, professional work, have earned him a loyal following and a respected reputation in the tattoo community.
